Abstract: In 2019, Xiajiang Reservoir experienced several floods, of which the No. 1 and No. 4 floods of Ganjiang River were the two largest since the establishment of the reservoir. Due to the influence of No. 0624 flood forecasting and dispatching, the protection works of the reservoir area are in danger or damaged, exposing the existing problems. Through enhancing flood dispatching and taking active defensive measures, the danger and hidden danger of the project were eliminated in time, and the measures ensured the project safety. Some thoughts are put forward to provide reference of similar projects.
