Abstract:
In 2024, Typhoon "Gaemi" No.2403 caused severe floods and waterlogging in many parts of China, especially in Hunan Province. This paper analyzes the formation background, movement path, and specific causes of the heavy rainfall caused by Typhoon "Gaemi" in Hunan, as well as the disaster losses it caused. Through digital simulation, the conditions and characteristics of Typhoon "Gaemi"'s rainfall are transplanted to the Dawen River Basin in Shandong Province for analysis, simulating the potential scenario of a similar typhoon and rainstorm disaster in the region, and based on the results of the transplantation analysis, research and formulate targeted emergency rescue countermeasures. This has practical significance for local governments and relevant departments to formulate more scientific and reasonable typhoon prevention and emergency plans.
