Abstract:
Influenced by Typhoon Doksuri (No.2035) and its peripheral cloud systems, the Haihe River Basin experienced the most intense rainfall since the beginning of the flood season in late July, leading to a catastrophic basin-wide flood. Focusing on the upper reaches of the Zhanghe River within the Haihe River Basin, conducting a detailed analysis of the causes, characteristics, and countermeasures related to the extreme rainfall and flooding. It summarizes the distinctive features of the rainstorm and flood events in the upper reaches of the Zhanghe River during the Haihe River "23·7" basin-wide extreme flood and proposes recommendations for flood prevention and mitigation. The study aims to provide scientific evidence and decisionmaking support for enhancing flood control and disaster reduction capabilities in the upper reaches of the Zhanghe River.
