Abstract:
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most fast-growing and economically dynamic regions in China and plays an important strategic role in the overall development of the nation. In recent years, extreme weather occurred frequently in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the high level of urbanization has changes the underlying surface situation. The strategic position of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the potential huge losses caused by the waterlogging disasters determine the importance of waterlogging prevention and control in this area. The concept and evolution process of the resilience system are discussed, and combined with the waterlogging characteristics in highly urbanized areas in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the strategies for the urban resilience waterlogging prevention and control system are proposed, which has certain reference value for the urban planning and construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
