Abstract
Liangshui River is an important landscape river in the southwestern urban area of Beijing. The hydrophilic trails on both sides of the main stream of Liangshui River are important leisure spaces for the surrounding people. After 2021, it has been flooded for many times during the non-flood season, causing public concern. The reasons for the flood inundation of the hydrophilic trails are analyzed from the aspects of the change of water conditions and the siltation of the river channel. Based on the model simulation analysis, the influence of the increase of water volume and the river siltation on the elevation of the water level is quantitatively evaluated, as well as the effect of the implementation of the river dredging on reducing the water level. It provides technical support and decision-making basis for the implementation of river dredging and the elimination of the influence of public opinion.
